All of the above guilty. But before we put November to bed, let's at least give Thanksgiving the shout out it deserves. Simply put: mine was lovely (easily top 5 favorite words for bloggers to use, yes?) It really was though. I went to my parents house 15 minutes away from my apartment to stay the night before and wake up to share coffee in pj's while Mom cooked and Dad prepped for the visitors. (I ended up staying till Saturday.) And cooked and prepped we did! Later, guests arrived and we had a delicious dinner. We missed Grandma dearly, as she was recently hospitalized for an infection and has been moved to a nursing home to get her strength back before heading back home. She's almost back to 100%!
My brother made his first Pinterest project!
Grandpa always does the honor of cutting the turkey
Mom set the table beautifully
The cousins enjoyed their fake wine and carbs
Later we went to visit Grandma in the nursing home and made ourselves quite cozy. Mom gave Abby and Jake fast rides on the wheelchairs and we visited the birds and fish. The fish hid every time we would walk by, so what do you? You army crawl.
The rest of the weekend was filled with more yummy food, naps, shopping, Jake visiting and catching up on our shows! It was indeed LOVELY.
