Fire Engine Red

What inspires you for a room makeover? I continually covet the homes of bloggers, HGTVers and Design*Sponge before and afters but this got me really excited to a point where the light bulb went off. At least for now to be stashed away in the Blue Binder of Someday (BBS) of mine [which I need to dust off]. Maybe this credenza will help me do just that...

Via Cup of Jo [who just went on a honeymoon to Santorini, Greece...which is in my BBS] I read up on Jenny holding it down at Little Green Notebook, who spruced up her home office. Read more about her insanely beautiful style here. I am loving the fire engine red!
And I'm also loving the DIY ease of these inspiration boards. So simple, so pulled together! It makes me wonder why I can't ever think of these things.

If you're wondering: YES. I am printing these out to include in my BBS. And maybe I'll take a gander at the 5th Ave second-hand stores this weekend to see if anything catches my blue eyes, because I do have rather bare blue walls in my apartment that could use a fixin' or two.
