1. I finally bought the Jillian Michaels DVD I've been talking about for several months. Conclusions? I've only done level 1 and it's working. I feel more toned and just all around a bit lighter. I hate her voice. She annoys the crap out of me. Good alternative to NOT running (since I can barely go 2 miles without dying these days).
2. Jake and I went to Kansas City for a ridiculously fun wedding he was in. We stayed with Erin and Drew in Mexico and they are so much fun. We danced so much my feet looked like fat sausages at the end of the night.
3. Work has been ca-RAZAY! But in a good way. We just revealed a new brand for the hospital which we have been working on since early spring. It was hard to keep a secret that long, but stuffing 8,000 envelopes with my friends (coworkers) has never been so fun. There was dancing.
4. Today is my big brother's 29th birthday! I can't believe he is 29! And I don't think I've ever called him my "big brother" but well, he is. And he's awesome. He's currently coaching football at our old high school and does a great job of it. We have always had a special sibling relationship for which I am truly grateful. Happy Birthday Dominick!
5. Audrey, Jake's sister, is having TWINS! We've known for awhile now, but now that I am out and about shopping, all I can think about is finding cute little BOY outfits, nursery decor, etc. I am so excited for these little ones to arrive and hold them! Ryan and Aud will be amazing parents.
6. Jake just began Halloween season. THE SEASON. He owns a Halloween Express and from end of August to beginning of November he's pretty much out of commish. I'm excited to go help decorate parts of the store, since, ya know, Halloween is one of MY favorites, if not my favorite holidays ever.
7. I'm ready for fall.
