kid wishes

Inspired by cupcakes and cashmere: little dreams I got to thinking what I wished for as a kid (and these are completely serious and awesome):

1. a lava lamp
2. a hot pink powerwheels convertible
3. a pantry stocked with candy
4. to win a liter of pop at the St. Michael's fair5. to change my name
6. a trampoline for the backyard
7. a retainer (paperclip anyone?)
8. a sister
9. to be a teacher (I read books to my imaginery class)

and I still stare out the airplane window imagining all the tiny people below and how big the world truly is
